DNA N4-methylcytosine Site predictor in the genomes of the Fragaria vesca and Rosa chinensis in the Rosaceae.

About DNA N4 methylation

DNA methylation that covalently attaches a methyl group to DNA molecules is one type of heritable epigenetic markers. It can regulate many biological processes including cell developmental, genomic imprinting, and chromosome stability, and magnify the genomic diversity due to the resulting structural changes in DNA.

In this study, a novel predictor, i4mC-ROSE, is proposed for the identification of 4mC sites in the genomes of Fragaria vesca and Rosa chinensis in the Rosaceae. This server is freely available to any user, but without any warranty.
